Yoga Shala with Ocean Views

Yoga sessions with ocean views? That’s a yes! We’re talking vaulted ceilings, natural sunlight and a design that blends the outdoor with the indoor – the traditional with the modern. All lessons are included in your package and the studio is equipped with everything you need from mats to bolsters, straps and even balance boards and Swiss balls. Travel light!

For Beginners and Seasoned Surfers

Word on the street is that learning to surf ain’t easy. We aim to change that by running fun and thoughtful surf lessons. Expect to surf for roughly 2 hours daily with anywhere from 20 minutes to 50 minutes of travel time total to and from our mellow, uncrowded and forgiving beginner-friendly island breaks. For the experienced surfers, you’ll go off to chase barrels, reef and point breaks.

Xanadu’s restaurant is more than just a place to refuel after a surf. With a variety of seasonal lunch and dinner options plus homemade sourdough bread, pasta and peanut butter, everything they prepare is done with love. Enjoy delicious meals suitable for a variety of dietary requirements and a luxury dining experience with a Lombok twist.

Ice Bath & Ice Immersion Workshop

Deliberate cold exposure can increase energy and focus, builds resilience & grit, enhances your mood (it sounds crazy, but it’s true!), increases metabolism and speeds up physical recovery. Our daily ice bath immersions & breathwork sessions will teach you how to use the ice bath in the most effective way and how to prepare your body and mind for it. It will give you great foundations to be able to continue the ice immersion journey on your own later on.

Dreamy Infinity Pool and Lounge Area

Be prepared to leave with a PhD in chillaxing thanks to Xanadu’s infinity pool and lounge area. Kick back and lap up that Lombok sun or stretch out in the shade on our comfy sofa beds. It’s a great place to relax or mingle with other enlightened folks from around the world. Chill, sleep, swim, repeat. Not bad, right?

I’m in! How do I reserve my spot?

Send an email to info@yogalabfremantle.com.au requesting a Lombok Retreat Reservation Form. Email your completed form back to us and we’ll send you an invoice for payment. Your reservation will be officially confirmed once payment has been received.

How do I get to Lombok and Xanadu?

The quickest & easiest way from Perth is to fly into Denpasar International Airport (Bali) and from there catch a direct flight to Lombok International Airport with either Wings Air or City Link. It’s a 45-minute flight and can be booked via Traveloka.com (the Indonesian equivalent of Bookings.com)

The drive from Lombok airport to Xanadu Retreat is about 25 minutes (transfers from Lombok airport to Xanadu are included)

Do I need yoga or surfing experience to attend the retreat?

Not at all! Surf lessons will be split into groups based on your surfing ability, this means beginners go with beginners and so on. You’ll surf small, mellow waves in waist- deep water under the careful guidance of experienced instructors. Your first waves will be on a soft foam board that’s safe and super user-friendly
A mix of beginner friendly Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin classes will be offered throughout the week. and all classes will be taught by senior YOGALAB teachers Donna and/or Shawn who are both experts at ensuring each class is sequenced to suit a variety of levels.

I’m traveling solo; can I book a twin room?

Yes absolutely! Choose the twin share option on your reservation form, lets us know you’re travelling solo in the comments section and we’ll match you with a roommate.

Can my dietary requirements be catered to?

Yes, no problem! Xanadu cater to a variety of special dietary requirements, just let us know specifics on your reservation form so we can let them know ahead of time.

Can I arrive early or extend my stay at Xanadu?

Retreats at Xanadu run Saturday – Saturday so they’re unable to offer early arrival however they do have a list of nearby accommodation they’re happy to recommend for those arriving early or wanting to stay an extra few days. Just reach out to us and we’ll send you the details.
